These writings are older than biblical text, but only one of these, The Rig Veda of Hinduism is in circulation today as the Bible, which the oldest books of the Old Testament were written between 800 BC and 650 BC

The Rig Veda of Hinduism - 1500 BC - The Rig Veda is believed to have been created between 1500 and 1200 BC, although allegedly it was recorded in oral form only back then. The Rig Veda is believed to have been written down for the first time around the early Middle Ages. Nonetheless, it is one of the oldest religious texts written in an Indo-European language. Still in use today.
