Although there are challenges and gaps with respect to the use of etymology in many of the translations, particularly those that translate from English to English or other translations that do not reference the original languages, Aramaic, Hebrew or Koine Greek. The spiritual inspiration of scripture survives any efforts that may undermine the message of the Bible.
It is important to note, the reason scripture has survived for thousands of years is because it does not rest solely on the writings of scripture. There are still prophets and teachers that operate with spiritual gifts that offer interpretation of scripture. Even those who attempt to manipulate scripture cannot ultimately undermine the one on one relationship to the Lord. God has not checked out, regardless of the activities of men.
It is the hardness of man’s heart that creates the gap, we don’t hear or recognize the Holy Spirits direction in our lives, we are a busy people. Consider that the oral history existed long before the written writings, and they, like the written word were inspired by the Lord as well.
