From a biblical perspective all life creates after its own kind.
Genesis 1:24
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Which is why Satyrs, centaurs, mermaids or other mythological creatures don’t exist. All life has a base creation that scientist can only replicate in one form or another. They cannot create life, they may be able to modify it, using existing life God created, even if its in the form of cells, man can't create cells, they can only harvest them. In that regard, any tampering surrounding life is judged as man playing God. This includes dissection and DNA manipulation, hybrid work and the like.
