Heaven & Hell

If I take myself to hell and God maintains it does that entail gross negligence on the part of God?

The only way I can respond to this question is from a biblical point of view, in that regard, Hell is a temporal place of torment that in and of itself will be tossed into a greater and final place of torment called the Lake of Fire.

(Luke 16:19–31 describes Hell as a place prior to and during the lifetime of Christ)

Revelation 20:13–15 - Hell tossed into the Lake of Fire

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

What we know about this the lake of fire is that Angels toss men into it at their final judgment, and its hot.

Matthew 13:40-42

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

When you think about Hell, it is a self contained place that would require no management, the occupants are dispatched there as a result of the choices they made in this life. It is not a place with valet service or any other accommodations. Hell is a holding place that is designed for punishment, any neglect would not apply.
