If I join the wrong religion, will my prayers please God or just make him angry?

God listens to your heart, and His Spirit is the one that should guide you in your faith, not a particular religion or teacher. When its the Lord guiding you, you will know if your going in the right direction, you will feel a confirmation in your heart or a caution in your mind. Prayers always help.
