Do Christians believe Hinduism to be a demonic and evil religion when it's not?

In my understanding, it is viewed more as a philosophy as with Budiasm, the advent of so many gods worshipped in Hinduism places the philosophy in an idolatrous perspective, which to Christians is an evil in and of itself.
